BACKGAMMON PROBLEMS — PROBLEM OF THE WEEK
During the suspension of live play as a result of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and Governor Cuomo’s mandated shut-down of most non-essential businesses in the state of New York, one of the things that was done to provide some alternative “entertainment” for our club members (in addition to the introduction of the “For the Glory” online tournament circuit by Gill Misrahi), was to provide them with weekly backgammon problems for their consideration, education and amusement. These various problems, together with their respective solutions, are collected below.
